Rich has over 25 years in the leadership development and organizational effectiveness space in addition to enterprise consulting and teaching at two universities. Contributed 7+ years at Zappos.com, after it was acquired by Amazon, and built an emotional intelligence (EQ) practice to leverage company culture for breakthrough business results.

Work capitalizes on level B psychometric tools at the organization and individual levels along with ICF Coaching and Change Management certifications empowering players to apply new concepts to their environment for upgraded results. He works with coaching clients across the globe. Rich holds the highest learning and performance certification, from ATD, in addition to HR credentials from SHRM and HRCI.

The combination of an MBA and these certified skills has helped measure and improve performance and metrics like EBITDA, turnover, engagement and trust in organizations of all sizes including technology, non-profit and the US Military.

He volunteers with the Civil Air Patrol (US Air Force Auxiliary) and serves as Vice Commander for the Nevada Wing. He oversees 700+ volunteers comprised of more than 300 cadets that serve the community in Emergency Services (Disaster Relief), Aerospace Education, and Cadet Programs. Rated Search & Rescue mission pilot and FEMA-trained Type I Incident Commander.

We give 1% of revenues (and more) back to the community. This often takes the form of Executive Coaching and Emotional Intelligence coaching for cadets aged 12-21. Time donated includes training, disaster relief, search & rescue, and government relations for this non-profit.
